End of Life Counseling
Dying and death are two very challenging topics to bring up in conversation with friends or family (for most families, not all). It is often thought of as taboo in our society; however, the truth is that we are all going to experience this. At one point, all of us will face this process. There are many ways to experience this, but for most of us, this is a very lonely process. There is a dual process happening; the dying may try to stay strong for their family, and family members may try to stay strong for their dying loved one. This can cause a lot of stress and emotional turbulence for everyone involved. I am offering End of Life Counseling to families and friends who are experiencing a family member actively dying, to include both in-home counseling and checking in via phone calls. If you would like to schedule a session, please call 415-483-9093. |
